MarketPlace managed more than 40 Food & Beverage and more than 50 Retail locations at this international gateway airport to the DC – Virginia – Maryland region from 2013 through 2023. Over this 10-year period, MarketPlace worked successfully to improve the concessions offerings for Passengers utilizing the United Airlines domestic connecting complex, to activate the large open spaces in the international concourses, and to maximize program revenue.
Throughout the pandemic, MarketPlace worked creatively and successfully with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, concessionaires, and vendors to ensure that no individual location would close due to pandemic travel restrictions.
