Terminal Manager

Job Description

Oversee the day-to-day operation of the airport’s food & beverage and retail concessions program. Manage concessions operations for compliance with policies and procedures, and relevant operational, safety & security regulations. Maintain all areas of responsibility including food courts, and common areas. Conduct required monthly inspections both operational and food safety.

Responsibilities

Operations/Compliance
  • Assist with the concession’s maintenance and inspections program
  • Execute special assignments that may be given from time to time
  • Ensure Street Pricing Policy compliance with all tenants
Merchant Relations
  • Maintain effective relationships with merchants, contractors, Airport Authority, and airport tenants
  • Respond to tenant operational issues, problems, and requests, including after-hours alerts and emergencies
Inspections
  • Conduct and accurately record inspections and resolve violations and deficiencies
  • Risk Management
  • Serve as key member of the Risk Management Committee
Contract Services
  • Ensure that contracted services are managed in accordance with the agreement and company standards

  • Must have the ability to make good decisions quickly and be flexible
  • Willingness to work a varying schedule is essential, including nights, weekends, holidays and inclement weather
Education, Experience and Special Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least three years of experience in facility operations / restaurant management or relevant management is necessary
  • Thorough knowledge of facility operations, restaurant, shopping center, budgeting and housekeeping standards and practices
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driver’s record and personal transportation is required
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email programs
  • Some familiarity with relevant OSHA regulations and state and local ordinances is a plus
