Boston travelers can now take an excursion for a sweet treat from one of the city’s most famous bakeries. Mike’s Pastry unveiled its newest location at Boston Logan International Airport Wednesday, bringing a taste of Boston’s North End to the city’s airport.
The opening marked a significant milestone for the family-owned business, which was founded by Michael “Mike” Mercogliano in 1946.
“This is a very exciting day for our entire family,” Joseph Papa, one of the owners of Mike’s Pastry said Wednesday.
